Don't hate me, but I am loving the rain today, 
especially earlier when it was a light sprinkle 
on my bare shoulders and cheeks. 
I didn't realize how much I needed its refreshment 
until it fell and I found myself smiling. 
Heavy rain now, but a lighter me. 
Must have washed away something that weighed on me, 
something that needed leaving.
